Founded by Sandy Nelles, a Texas-based esthetician, spa owner, and educator with 18+ years in the treatment room. Below is the story behind the brand she built.
Orska Rituals was born from a simple belief: we heal when we return to our origins.
In a world that constantly asks us to do more, buy more, and move faster, we often lose touch with what matters most. We become disconnected from ourselves, our bodies, our rhythms, and the simple rituals that ground us.
The name Orska is inspired by the word "origin" and the spirit of old European family names that connect us to lineage, place, and belonging.
It is a reminder that beneath the noise, we already possess what we seek.

Born Behind the Facial Bed.
After performing thousands of facials, training hundreds of estheticians, and building multiple spa concepts over the past 18+ years, Sandy developed a deep appreciation for the details that shape a client's experience.
The textures, scents, fabrics, vessels, and tools that touch the skin. The atmosphere of the treatment room. The feeling a client carries with them long after the service ends.
Over time, she found herself searching for a professional skincare line that could do it all: deliver visible results, elevate the treatment experience, and align with her values. Too often, practitioners were forced to choose between performance, design, clean ingredients, sustainability, and sensory experience, or carry multiple lines to address different skin concerns.
She envisioned a professional skincare collection that delivered real results while honoring clean formulations, thoughtful design, and the belief that our skin reflects how we live, rest, nourish, and care for ourselves.
From acne and hyperpigmentation to compromised barriers, inflammation, dehydration, and visible signs of aging, Orska was created to support healthier, stronger, more resilient skin through intentional formulations and customizable treatment rituals.

Rediscovering what modern esthetics was missing.
After building and later selling multiple spas, Sandy stepped away and began a personal wellness journey that reshaped her approach to skincare and self-care.
Through energy work, sound healing, wellness-centered travel, and slower, more restorative rituals, she realized what had been missing from much of modern esthetics: not just results, but reconnection.
Today, Orska combines modern science with botanical wellness to create vegan, treatment-room effective formulas designed for real skin concerns without compromising the experience of care.
