Description

A transformation peel for stubborn pigmentation and photoaged skin. Four actives moving across four pathways. Trichloroacetic acid for collagen synthesis at the dermal level. Lactic for surface refinement and hydration. Kojic for pigment suppression over time. Azelaic for anti-inflammatory support and tyrosinase inhibition.

At 1.0 pH, Alchemy reaches deeper than any other peel in the line. TCA precipitates protein, causing controlled coagulation that triggers neocollagenesis as the skin renews. This is medium-depth chemistry applied with intention, designed for clients who have moved through superficial peels and are ready for visible transformation.

Not a first-time peel. Requires 4 to 6 weeks of pre-conditioning, longer for Fitzpatrick IV through VI. Patch test before first use on melanin-rich skin. For melasma, post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, photoaged skin, lax skin and wrinkles. The endpoint is the work. The preparation is what protects the outcome.
Hero Ingredients

Trichloroacetic Acid (TCA) Protein-precipitating agent. Causes coagulation and denaturation of epidermal and dermal proteins. Self-neutralizing. Medium-depth. Elevated PIH risk in Fitz IV through VI.

Lactic Acid Surface refinement and hydration. Mid-sized AHA, anti-inflammatory.

Kojic Acid Tyrosinase inhibitor for pigmentation. Slow, cumulative action.

Azelaic Acid Tyrosinase inhibitor with anti-inflammatory properties. Particularly valuable in melasma, PIH, and rosacea-associated acne.

How To Use

Prep: cleanse with Sencha Purifying Cleanse, degrease with Mystic Mandelic 5%, protect with Barrier Balm. Apply 2 to 3 layers, 1 to 5 minutes between layers. First peel or Fitz IV-VI: start with 1 layer and build with tolerance. Use controlled, conservative technique and build progressively across treatments. Expect light, speckled frost; stop at the first visible pattern. Dense, uniform frost is too deep, so do not layer further. For Fitz IV-VI, complete a 6-week melanin-inhibitor pre-conditioning protocol minimum and stop before any frost appears. Self-neutralizing; do not interrupt expected frosting unless skin response is excessive.
